Due to increasing the amount of clients in Portage and area - we are now looking for 1 full time person, 2 part time persons and a 3rd person to work casual on evenings & weekends. You must have a current criminal record and adult abuse registry done or in the process. You must have a current license and a vehicle. You will be paid a wage plus mileage. The position may entail some or all of the following depending on the applicants ability: bathing, assisting with medications, grocery shopping, running errands, making meals, light house cleaning, toileting, changing of incontinence products. While we mostly work with the elderly, we do have clients that are younger as well. By working with us you will be able to help these people continue to live in their own homes. We offer flexible scheduling, on the job training and will always help you succeed. The Portage office is now under new management and we now have a remote office that will come to you to set things up. Ideal applicants would be 50+ in age, drive, enjoy working with the elderly, some experience whether it be training or caring for family members, some knowledge of dementia, and own a smart phone. send resume to info@daughteroncall.com along with your availability.
