Line Locator Assistant

Are you a reliable, energetic, and adventurous individual looking for an exciting opportunity? Linear Locating is seeking a dedicated candidate to join our team as a Locator Assistant. If you love the outdoors, enjoy walking, hiking, and driving, then this role is perfect for you! Based in Swift Current, we are a growing company providing services across Southwest Saskatchewan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive to various locations within Southwest Saskatchewan.
• Walk and hike to assist in locating, marking, and documenting underground lines.
• Work under supervision, following directions from the locating technician.
• Assist in hammering wooden stakes to mark locations accurately.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be physically fit and capable of walking long distances (averaging 5-15 km per day)
• Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Enjoy driving and possess and maintain a valid drivers license
• Be flexible to work varying schedules, including overtime and weekends.
• Have strong written and verbal communication
• Prioritize safety and be able to pass drug and alcohol testing when required.
• Have or be willing to obtain oilfield safety certifications (First Aid & H2S).

Salary Range:
$18-25 per hour depending on qualifications with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
