Summer Program Assistant/Camp Leaders

Implement, coordinate, facilitate and or assist with a variety of summer programs:
These can include Summer Camp, Outreach and or Main location programs and or supports.

What you will do:
There will be opportunities to engage children and youth in the FRC summer programs such as Summer Camp, activities at Outreach and Main, projects and or special events.
How you do this:
*Engage children and youth in social, recreational, and community-based activities
*Assist with FRC programs and projects
*Oversee the daily operations of camp (i.e. attendance, supplies, facilitating activities, and daily cleaning)
*Ensure health and safety protocols are in place
*Other duties as required

What We Need:
*Ability to follow FRC policies and procedures
*Ability to get to and from job sites
*Experience working with children and care givers is preferred.
*Must be between the ages of 15-30 at the beginning of the employment period (as per Funder requirement)
*Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected refugee (as per Funder requirement)
*Must have a registered SIN (as per Funder requirement)
-We will offer full-time hours with certain positions being split shifts or flexible times or possibly part time
*Able to start work on July 2nd. We will have options for 12 - 16 week positions
*Manitoba Child Abuse Registry Check (no older than 6 months at the start of the position)
*Ability to lead others/leadership skills/model, direct and mentor colleagues
*Capable of fostering independence in others.
*Strong interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrated experience or interest working with Children and youth
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent problem-solving skills
*CPR/First Aid and asset
