Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Support Process Engineers in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Participate in root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of process deviations, defects, or failures.
• Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in 5S events and activities throughout the manufacturing plant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to address process-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to process engineering projects and initiatives.
• Assist in conducting process audits, tooling identification and assessments to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
• Ideal candidate will be enrolled in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related diploma.
• Applicants with equivalent education combined with applicable experience may also be considered.
• Training or education in hydraulic systems, fluid power systems, manufacturing and design systems are considered assets.
Experience / Skills / Attributes Required:

• Manufacturing experience considered an asset.
• Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to adhere to tight schedules with minimal supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Technical background.
• Must have a demonstrated analytical mindset.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
