Early Childhood Educator or Child Care Assistant

Full time term position from June 3, 2024 – August 30, 2024.

Northland Childcare Centre Inc. is looking for an energetic and creative person who is passionate about working in childcare to join our team! Our Mission Statement is to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare in a licensed environment with a focus on the individual child's needs and abilities and development of the whole child, while instilling respect and compassion for others.
Staff responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Working as a team and being able to carry out duties, following job descriptions and policies.
-Positive and energetic interaction with and supervision of children.
-Plan and implement various learning experiences with the children.
-Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
-Willingness to work flexible day time hours.

All applicants must:
-Be available for all 13 weeks of the term
-Be 18 years of age at time of hire.
-Have a clear Child Abuse Registry Check and clear Criminal Record Check within the past three months or be willing to obtain.
-Have valid First Aid/CPR level C or be willing to obtain.

At the end of the term there is potential for extension into a regular position depending on reliability, job performance and the needs of the centre.
