Full Time K-4 Teacher

Wingham HB School is a funded, independent K-12 school located on Wingham Hutterite Community near Elm Creek, Manitoba. In addition to following the Manitoba curriculum, our school promotes Christian values while integrating Hutteritan culture.

We are seeking applications to hire a full time grade 1-4 teacher for the 2024 – 2025 school year with the potential for multiple year placement. Applicants should have a strong background in Early Years education with emphasis in ELA and Math.

Applicants should:

• Hold a valid Manitoba Permanent Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Be familiar with EY English literacy/numeracy as well as provincial curricula.
• Be prepared to teach in a low-enrollment, multi-grade environment.
• Be competent with current evaluation and assessment practices.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be willing to learn about and be respectful of the Christian faith in a Hutterite context.
• Possess current Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record checks.

Additional expertise or experience in drama, fine arts, choral singing/music are welcome but are not required.
