JOB DESCRIPTION
The Custodial Assistant is responsible on a daily basis for:
• Cleaning hand basins, toilets, walls and partitions in washrooms
• Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Cleaning whiteboards in classrooms
• Emptying garbage
• Periodically spot cleaning walls
• Cleaning windows and glass in doors
• Other duties as assigned.
During the summer break the entire school receives a thorough "house cleaning" with special attention being paid to walls and student desks. During school breaks (Summer, Spring and Christmas) working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (8.0 hours per day)
