Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions to mount or place system components
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning systems and components
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for refrigeration facilities
and recreational facilities
• Repair and servicing of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment in commercial & industrial buildings
• Install and calibrate related controls (including wiring)
• Complete administrative reports and paperwork related to work performed and submit in a timely fashion
• Follow customer & company safety policies and regulations
Qualifications:
• A valid Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic Journeyperson License
• A valid driver’s license
• Previous experience in industrial refrigeration & HVAC/R is preferred
• Experience working with ammonia systems is an asset
• Strong customer service & relationship building skills are an asset
• Attention to detail is a strong asset
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and according to deadlines
• A willingness to learn and ability to work in a quick changing environment
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Availability to be on call as part of a rotating schedule
