Buhler Active Living Centre is currently looking for a dedicated individual to fill the Manager of Housekeeping position at our facility located in Winkler.
In this full-time position, you will be part of a dynamic Buhler Active Living Centre team striving to serve our residents in a caring resident-focused environment. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the housekeeping team as well as organizing and maintaining the overall operation of the housekeeping department at Buhler Active Living Centre, assuring a high degree of quality service to the residents and guests.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training and Experience.
• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma required.
• Preferred two (2) years’ experience in housekeeping.
• Two (2) years Management Experience
• Good work and attendance record.
• The ability to communicate in more than one language is an asset.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills,
• Responsible and trustworthy,
• Attention to cleanliness and safety,
• Ability to self-regulate and work independently,
• Ability to work with and lead others,
• Ability to anticipate needs, adapt quickly and multitask,
• Self-motivated to accomplish goals and a strong sense of responsibility,
• Sound organization, coordinating and personal skills,
• Reliable, Diligent, dedicated, attention to detail.
• A criminal record and venerable person check needed before hiring.
