Grain Farm Work

Sissons Farms is a family run pedigreed seed farm located on the edge of Portage la Prairie. We run a current fleet of equipment and grow wheat, oats, canola, soybeans, and edible beans.

We currently are seeking a full time seasonal employee. (Immediate start)
Available year round employment opportunity for the right applicant.
Duties include but not limited to: equipment service maintenance and repair, aiding with field duties, equipment operation, harvest help, general yard and building maintenance, (grass cutting, tree trimming, painting ect)

Must hold valid class 5 or better drivers license, have reliable transportation to and from work.
Be capable of understanding tasks and complete in safe and efficient manor.
Have general knowledge of maintenance and repair of equipment,
Be physically able to work in at times fast paced environment, (running, climbing, bending, lifting, work at heights).
Assets:
Past farm experience, equipment operation, tandem truck
