Commercial Tent Installer

Prairieheart Tent Rentals is a small business in Portage la Prairie, MB. We rent out tables, chairs, and tents, dance floors, and lighting. Sizes include 10x10, 20x20, 20x30, 20x40, 40x40,x60,x80, x100, x120, x140,x160,x180.

Cleaning, organizing, loading, unloading, setting up and take down of tents, as well as the removal, cleaning and storing of the tent and equipment once the event is completed. This work is typically very physical and demanding.

Specifically:

-You will be responsible for pulling and loading tent and related equipment
-You are part of teams who will prepare, deliver, set up, execute and remove events
-You have flexibility with working hours to accommodate event schedules
-Work will go into September. You must be able to work through the weekdays/weekends of September

Qualifications:

-Class 5 drivers license minimum (class 3 preferred)
-Language: English (Required)
-Willing to provide Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry
-working outdoors in all conditions
-Physically active and able to lift heavy materials, and must have full range of motion and dexterity
-Willing to learn
-Hardworking and highly motivated, and able to work independently at times.
-Available to work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules
-Use of some power tools
-Managing and taking part in the cleaning of tents and side walls
-Willing to help in other areas of the business when needed such as organization

-Extra hours may be provided if interested and as needed in areas including but not limited to septic and backhoe labor, yard maintenance, and reno work.
