Senior Accountant Position

Wolfe Pac is a rapidly expanding accounting firm located near Rosenfeld and requires a Senior Accountant to join our team. We offer a flexible work environment and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare year end adjusting journal entries and other supporting documentation for year end close, including accruals and reconciliations
• Assemble year-end financial statement information and compile working papers for financial statements, including maintaining asset and debt schedules
• Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns and reconcile tax schedules to financial statements
• Compile information regarding sales tax and file sales tax for clients
• Assist in tax planning and strategy for clients

Skills and Experience:
• Over two years of experience in an accounting position
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, CaseWare and TaxCycle (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• CPA Designation or working towards designation (preferred)
