Duties: Red River College Polytechnic, Portage Campus requires classroom instructors for teaching, supervision and guidance of students in a classroom setting. This will include; preparing course outlines, maintaining student records, student evaluation, development and adherence to the delivery schedule within an allocated time, attendance at scheduled meetings, utilize the course LEARN website, ensuring curriculum content is consistent with parent program and student assignments reflect industry needs.

Required Qualifications:
Master of Science Degree
Several years’ experience in the field of Human Anatomy and Physiology
Demonstrated knowledge in Human Anatomy and Physiology
Effective presentation skills which include a demonstrated ability to work with current learning tools and technologies associated with course delivery (i.e. Learn, LCD Projectors, and PowerPoint presentations)
Ability to carry out formative and summative assessments
Ability to manage conflict and exercise good judgment
Effective leadership skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Cultural sensitivity
Commitment to lifelong learning

Assets:
Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
Experience developing and instructing distance delivered courses, including on-line
Experience training others in health related topics
Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)

This position is for an evening instructor one or two nights per week.
